The Maserati 4200 EVO
Maserati—the name is steeped in tradition, bringing to mind racing elegance and southern European vitality which has long stepped out of Ferrari's shadow. Those who know Italian high-performance vehicles even prefer the dynamic trident over the closely related racing cars from Maranello.
Under the new label G&S EXCLUSIVE, we have modified the Maserati 4200 GT Cambiocorsa to look even more spectacular without compromising its inherent elegance.
Exclusive tuning for the coupe of Maserati
One defining feature of G&S EXCLUSIVE's modifications to the Maserati 4200 EVO is the replacement of the original bumper with a wide-mouth bumper, reminiscent of the current Maserati Coupé GranTourismo. Not surprising, as the whole front grill comes from this model.
The trademark and the lights (fog, standing/parking, blinker) have remained from the original bumper. Further, G&S has installed a completely new, prominently curved hood as well as hood vents.
New "old" rear for the Maserati 4200
When Maserati brought out the 4200 GT to replace the 3200 GT in 2001, the update to the rear lights was a big step back in the view of most Maserati fans: the characteristic, filigree rear light curve was replaced with a chunky “facelift” version. G&S EXCLUSIVE replaces this unpopular change by fashioning the complete rear end of the 4200 GT according to the 3200 GT, i.e. the rear lights and the trunk lid with the look of its 3,2 Liter Coupé precursor.
In addition, G&S sharpens the rear of the Coupé with a new bumper with a diffuser so powerful that it would satisfy a GT racing car. Alternatively, a more discreet bumper without a diffuser is available. G&S has developed special side sill attachments for these modifications.
Exhaust system with flap control for the Maserati 4200 EVO
To the right and left of the rear apron protude high-gloss, 85 mm twin tail pipes from the Capristo tail pipe setting (EDS & MSD) designed for a spectacular racing sound that every serious V-8 racer would love. The pipes are foldable and feature dynamic pressure control as well as remote control.
The exhaust system is also available as a non-folding system. There is also the option (only for export, since it is not permitted by the German vehicle inspection board - TÜV) for a middle silencer.
KW coilovers for the Maserati 4200
We take a KW variant 3 Coilover with compression and rebound damping (hydraulic lift is optional) and combine it with a 20-inch wheel set to attain a sweetly sharpened sound proportionate to driving dynamics. The OZ Ultraleggera Light Alloy rims combine a sporty yet filigree look with an ultralight weight, which positively influences driving dynamics (think “unsprung mass”).
Not to forget grip, we put on Dunlop tires 235/30ZR20 at the front, 275/25ZR20 at the rear.
Chic and lightweight 20-inch wheels for the Maserati 4200
Alternatively, G&S offers three-part OZ Granturismo Light Alloy rims with forged spokes. In order to perfectly fit this rim/tire combination (with 20 mm spacers) in the wheel housing, the fenders are widened by 10 mm at the front and 20 mm at the back on each side.
Even if the sport cars from Sant'Agata Bolognese have long been seen as Maserati's and Ferrari's archrivals, G&S Exclusive paints the 4200 EVO in the 3-layer opaque “Lamborghini Gallardo Orange.” With black headlight housing and diverse black/black-matte exterior elements, the effect is one of contrast and harmony.
Carbon interior for the Maserati 4200
We in the Zollernalb district don't restrict ourselves only to exterior upgrades—we do your interior according to your individual wishes; for example, shimmering visible carbon fibers in the color of the car for the console or the entry sills, or various other small interior parts.
The paddle shifters are also made of visible carbon; the rear windows are tinted.
